Gilbert Arenas: Zero to Hero

The first time I saw Gilbert  Arenas play, I was like “this guy can play“, I mean like a lot of guys in the NBA. So i don’t really keep an eye on him, it was in his Golden States’ times ; but i keep his curious number in my mind : 0. Then he was traded to Washington and then I had to be more focused on him. Why ? because the boy  CAN PLAY and i mean really PLAY. He is a killer.
You need a proof that the scouts aren’t so good : the guy has only been drafted at the 2nd roundarenas_80692 (and now he’s running for the MVP Title, how ironic it is huh ?). Not known as a Lebron, a Wade or a Camelo, he nevertheless is one of the top scorers in the league, leading it in free throws and 3 points made. He is the definition of a strong player, with shoulders as a NFL player which help him break the defences to go to the basket ; and not only is he physically strong, he is strong minded too and that’s probably what is the most impressive with him.
Like many players with that kind of talent, Gil’ never really doubt ; in fact he even is overconfident like when 2 years ago he said he would win the All Star Game MVP trophy. But don’t get this wrong, he is only someone confident in his game and for a reason : he’s a gym rat. I mean imagine a 24 years old young man at 11p.m a Saturday, he will probably be in a club, chillin’ with his friends, using his fame to have free access to private parties. But not Gil’, you could find him shooting at the gym, always trying to improve his perfect shot (just my point of view of course).
Speaking oh his shoot, Gil’ is just incredible this year, knocking buzzer beaters nights after nights (actually he is 11/11 in long range shot at the end of games this season). Like i said “just incredible“. And the most impressive thing about that shots is this feeling which comes from him like : I know it will be in, i warned you, you can stop me. Yes, every shot he took like that let us with this same thought : «He did it again !!!! ». I told you the guy is crazy, hell of a player, probably a future Hall of famer and who knows, maybe this season’s MVP. Just keep it rollin’ mister Arenas.
Oh and just to remember something to the haters : he’s wearing the number 0 because his coach and many others detractors told him it was the time he would play back in the days at Arizona University. How can people be that wrong sometimes ? I don’t even want to know the answer, all you have to do now his show some love to my man Gilbert “Hibachi“ Arenas and see you at the NBA Playoffs.
The National Basketball Team and coach K are surely thinking the same as me, you can’t affor to miss Gil’. But again it’s just my opinion

Peace out !
