Deron Williams aka “Stop me if you can“

The most important for me in the Spurs versus Jazz serie is that people finally have got the chance to see my man Deron Williams aka “Stop me if you can“ play and you all seen it : the guy knows how to ball.
He's got the whole package : a sweet and reliable mid range shoot, he’s a great ball handler and he can go to the rim whenever he wants (sorry for you Jacques Vaughn) ; oh yeah and if you don’t pay attention he can notch threes too and dishes great assists just ask his team-mates. The whole package as I DWsaid.
He was already a star at Illinois University and reach the NCAA Championship Game and was drafted in the third rank in 2005 Draft by the Jazz. Probably the most gifted point guard of the new generation with CP3, Deron only has to wait to show people the star he is and wiil be. With the victory of the Warriors against the Mavs and the King James level rise against the Pistons, the main thing people will have to remember is that Deron Williams got game.
The 6-3 (1.91m) point guard is young, 23, and sky is the limit for him. Have a look at his sick one handed dunk on Game 1 against the Spurs ; I think Elson will remember it forever. It shows the athleticism of the guy and help understanding how and why the best NBA defense can ‘t find a way to slow him down (Bruce Bowen can tell how DW drives him crazy).
His impact in the Utah team is very important and a foot injury prevent him to give what we can now call “standard Deron Williams performance“ in game 5 and it was simply a blow out for the Jazz. He will have to work on his defense and maybe his quickness.
As a reward and a recognition of his talent, he will be a member of the Team USA this summer and will probably get to a next level by playing against foreign talented players. Next year everybody will know that Deron can deliver everynight and teams will have to readjust because of that. One thing is sure, he’ll keep shining as he did all season long.

Peace Out
